The Branch Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities at the branch level. The role ensures accuracy in branch accounts, proper documentation, and timely submission of reports to the Head Office.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain branch books of accounts (cash, bank, sales, purchases, expenses, etc.) in Tally/ERP.
Pass journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy of ledgers.
Manage petty cash and maintain proper vouchers and records.
Billing & Collections
Prepare customer invoices, credit/debit notes as per company policy.
Follow up for payments and update receipts in books.
Coordinate with service/sales teams for billing accuracy.
Banking & Reconciliation
Prepare bank deposits and handle branch-level banking transactions.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliation statements.
Monitor branch fund requirements and report to Head Office.
Inventory & Assets
Support store department in recording issue/receipt of spares.
Track branch fixed assets and depreciation records.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure branch adherence to company financial policies and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
Submit periodic MIS reports,
expense statements, and reconciliations to Head Office.
Support internal and statutory audits by providing required data.
Support Functions
Assist branch manager in budget control and expense monitoring.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Liaise with vendors and customers on payment/accounting-related queries.
Key Skills & Competencies
Robust knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and TDS.
Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
Accuracy and attention to detail in financial data.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Experience: 2–4 years in accounts (preferably in service, trading, or engineering industry).
Performance Indicators
Accuracy of books of accounts and reports.
Timely submission of MIS and statutory compliance data.
Effectiveness in receivable management and collections.
Support in smooth functioning of branch financial operations.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
