Job Title: Accountant cum Cashier

Role Overview:
YS Group is seeking a detail-oriented and highly reliable Accountant cum Cashier to manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accurate accounting records, and maintain robust financial discipline across operations. The role demands integrity, precision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage all cash transactions, receipts, and payments with complete accuracy and transparency
Maintain daily cash book and ensure timely reconciliation with bank statements
Handle fee collection, issuance of receipts, and proper recording in the system
Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and statutory requirements
Coordinate with auditors and support during audits
Monitor outstanding dues and follow up for timely collections




Safeguard cash and financial documents to prevent discrepancies or misuse
Support management with data insights for better financial decision-making

Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting (B.Com or equivalent); M.Com preferred
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and cash handling
Strong understanding of accounting principles and basic taxation
Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Valuable communication and organizational skills
