Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Software Testing Freshers to join our Quality Assurance team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in software testing, good analytical skills, and a willingness to learn and work with different testing tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Understand software requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and usability testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
Re-test defects after fixes and ensure issues are resolved.
Work closely with developers and QA team members to understand and resolve application issues.
Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings.
Learn and apply software testing best practices and processes.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of Software Testing / QA concepts.
Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
Understanding of test cases,
test scenarios, defect life cycle, and bug reporting.
Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.
Familiarity with JIRA, Postman, Selenium, or other testing tools is an advantage.
Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Strong willingness to learn new technologies.
Educational Qualification
B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
