We are looking for an experienced Regional Head – South India to drive Up-to-date Trade operations, promoter deployment and client relationships across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh & Kerala.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Modern Trade promoter operations across South India. Drive promoter hiring, deployment, retention and productivity across MT stores. Build and maintain relationships with Up-to-date Trade chains, FMCG clients and store teams.
Manage regional manpower requirements, vacancies, replacements and attendance. Coordinate with HR/recruitment teams for timely hiring of promoters and supervisors. Monitor promoter performance, sales targets, store compliance and execution.
Conduct regular market/store visits and identify operational gaps. Work closely with ASM/RSM/Regional Sales teams of clients.
Prepare MIS, performance reports and regional review presentations. Handle escalations and ensure smooth client servicing across the region. Ideal Candidate Profile 12–20+ years of FMCG / Modern Trade / Retail experience.
Strong experience in promoter hiring, deployment and management. Candidates who have worked as ASM / Sales Manager / RSM with an FMCG company are preferred.
Retired/experienced FMCG ASM with strong market relationships can also be considered. Good understanding of Modern Trade stores, promoter operations and retail execution.
Solid network across South Indian markets will be an mandatory.
Should be comfortable with extensive travel across South India.
Positive communication, team management and client-handling skills. Kannada/Tamil/Telugu/Malayalam knowledge will be an added advantage.
