Key Responsibilities
Handle the whole procurement process of raw materials, mechanical components, hardware, consumables, tools, and other production-related items.
Identify and develop recent vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and technical capability.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative statements.
Negotiate with vendors for best price, payment terms, quality, and delivery schedules.
Prepare material estimates and support cost estimation and cost-saving initiatives.
Understand BOMs, mechanical drawings, specifications, and material requirements.
Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation, dispatch, and timely delivery.
Maintain vendor records, quotations, purchase orders, and other procurement documentation.
Develop alternate suppliers for critical materials and components.
Monitor vendor performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.




Support management in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficient procurement.

Required Skills
Good knowledge of purchase and procurement processes in a manufacturing environment.
Solid vendor development, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Basic technical knowledge of mechanical materials, components, machining, and fabrication.
Ability to prepare estimates and compare commercial quotations.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement software.
Positive communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

Candidates with experience in defence, engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or industrial equipment will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
