About the Role

Vidya Setu Institute is seeking an Academic Counsellor to support prospective PhD scholars throughout programme selection, admissions, documentation, and enrolment.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel prospective candidates by phone, email, and online meeting.
Explain PhD coursework, eligibility criteria, fees, timelines, and admission requirements clearly and accurately.
Understand candidates’ academic backgrounds and research goals.
Follow up with prospective candidates and track application progress.
Maintain accurate records of enquiries and admissions.
Coordinate with the academic and admissions teams.




Support enrolment targets through ethical, transparent, and informative counselling.

Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of higher education or research programmes.
Excellent follow-up and organisational skills.
Basic proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, email, and online communication tools.
A graduate or postgraduate qualification is preferred.
