Production Planning and Control
Schedule daily and weekly production runs based on customer orders.
Balance machine capacity across mills, lathes, and multi-axis cells.
Track throughput, scrap rates, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Adjust schedules to handle rush orders or equipment breakdowns.
Quality and Process Compliance
Ensure machined parts match strict engineering drawings and specifications.
Partner with quality control teams to run in-process inspections.
Track root causes for non-conformance and lead corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with industry standards like ISO or AS9100.
Team Leadership and Safety
Supervise machinists, CNC programmers, and floor supervisors.
Conduct technical training and performance reviews.
Enforce strict shop floor safety rules regarding PPE and machine guards
