Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mould Designer with 2–3 years of experience in plastic injection mould design. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in Siemens NX and a thorough understanding of mould design principles, tooling standards, manufacturing processes, and product development requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop plastic injection moulds based on customer requirements and product specifications.
Create 3D mould assemblies, detailed manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) using Siemens NX.
Perform mould feasibility studies and participate in design reviews.
Design mould components including core, cavity, sliders, lifters, cooling circuits, and ejection systems.
Coordinate with Product Design, Tool Room, Manufacturing, and Project teams to ensure successful mould development.
Modify and optimize existing mould designs to improve performance, productivity, and quality.
Ensure compliance with company design standards and customer specifications.
Support mould trials and troubleshoot tooling-related issues by providing effective design solutions.
Maintain proper documentation of design revisions and engineering changes.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Siemens NX.
Solid knowledge of plastic injection mould design and tooling standards.
Understanding of mould manufacturing processes and product development.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Qualification
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred Candidate Profile
2–3 years of experience in Plastic Injection Mould Design.
Experience in mould optimization and troubleshooting.
Exposure to mould manufacturing and tool room practices.
