Sous Chef – Garde Manger

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sous Chef – Garde Manger to lead our Cold Kitchen operations and deliver high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities
Lead daily Garde Manger / Cold Kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
Oversee preparation of salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, canapés, dressings, cold cuts, pâtés, terrines, and other cold preparations.
Ensure excellent mise-en-place, plating, portion control, and presentation.
Supervise, train, and allocate duties to the kitchen team.
Monitor food safety, HACCP, hygiene, storage, FIFO, and wastage control.
Coordinate requisitions, inventory, and daily production requirements.
Support buffets, banquets, events, and menu development.
Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the Garde Manger section and equipment.

Shift & Reporting Duties




Work on rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
Ensure proper shift handovers and communicate pending tasks/issues.
Report operational, quality, hygiene, staffing, and equipment concerns to the reporting Chef.
Ensure proper opening, service, closing, and handover procedures for the section.

Ideal Candidate

A team-oriented culinary qualified with solid Garde Manger expertise, leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
