JOB DESCRIPTION – SPM FITTER

Position: SPM Fitter
Experience: 6–8 Years
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per Month + OT
Location: Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SPM Fitter to handle mechanical assembly, fitting, alignment, installation, testing, and commissioning of Special Purpose Machines (SPM).

Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of SPM machines.
Assemble and align machine components as per mechanical drawings.
Install and fit shafts, bearings, gears, couplings, guideways, cylinders, slides, etc.
Handle pneumatic and hydraulic component installation.
Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, cutting, and other fitting activities.
Check machine alignment, dimensions, and assembly accuracy.
Read and understand mechanical drawings and assembly drawings.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.
Support machine trial, testing, and commissioning activities.
Identify and resolve mechanical fitting and assembly issues.
Coordinate with the Design, Production, Electrical, and Project teams.




Maintain proper quality and safety standards during machine assembly.
Perform machine installation and breakdown/troubleshooting support when required.

Required Skills
Robust hands-on experience in SPM/Automation Machine fitting.
Good knowledge of mechanical assembly and precision fitting.
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Good knowledge of fitting tools and measuring instruments.
Ability to perform machine alignment and troubleshooting.
Valuable teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Trade preferred.

Experience Required

6–8 years of relevant experience in SPM, Special Purpose Machines, Industrial Automation Machines, or similar manufacturing industries.

Salary & Benefits
₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Overtime (OT) as applicable
Salary will be based on experience and technical skills.
