Job Title: Senior Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: Finance Manager / Head of Accounts

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, with robust hands-on experience in GST and TDS compliance, statutory filings, and financial reporting. The role ensures accurate books of accounts, timely tax compliance, and adherence to statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Operations
Maintain complete books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations
Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
Prepare financial statements (P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)

GST Compliance (Must Have)
Handle end-to-end GST compliance including:
GST return filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation
GST payments and challan preparation
Handling GST notices, audits, and assessments
Ensure compliance with GST laws and timely filings





TDS Compliance (Must Have)
Deduction of TDS as per Income Tax Act
Preparation and filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
TDS challan payments and reconciliation
Issuance of Form 16 & Form 16A
Handling TDS notices and assessments

Statutory & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory requirements
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and tax authorities
Support statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits

Banking & Reconciliation
Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
Monitor receivables and payables
Manage cash flow and fund planning

Reporting & MIS
Prepare financial MIS reports for management
Assist in budgeting and forecasting

Job Type: Full time

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
