Job Summary

Kannur Medical College is seeking a qualified Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye-care services, conduct vision assessments, and support ophthalmologists in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations.
Assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and binocular vision.
Perform refraction and prescribe spectacles/contact lenses as appropriate.
Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and procedures.
Identify and refer patients with eye conditions requiring specialist care.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Educate patients on eye care, hygiene,



and preventive measures.
Handle and maintain optometry equipment properly.

Qualification
B.Sc. Optometry / B.Optom from a recognized institution.
Valuable communication and patient-handling skills.
Freshers may apply; relevant experience will be an advantage.
