We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations. The Sous Chef will be responsible for maintaining high food-quality standards, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and hygiene, and assisting with menu preparation and kitchen management.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and standards.
Ensure proper food preparation, portion control, presentation, and consistency.
Monitor food quality, freshness, and storage.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and daily specials.
Manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
Minimize food waste and control food costs.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth and timely food service.
Step in for the Head Chef when required.
Follow all company policies, health regulations, and safety procedures.





Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a senior kitchen position.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
Valuable understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Valuable communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Culinary qualification or relevant professional experience preferred.
