Crockery Palace, a division of SABCO Group, is looking for a Retail Staff to support our day-to-day retail operations. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, handling product sales, maintaining product displays, and ensuring smooth store operations.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and assist customers in a polite and skilled manner.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
Explain product features, prices, offers, and availability.
Handle sales transactions and assist with billing when required.
Maintain proper product arrangement and attractive displays.
Ensure shelves and display areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Check product availability and coordinate with the concerned team for replenishment.
Assist in receiving, checking, arranging, and moving stock.
Handle crockery and other products carefully to avoid damage.
Support inventory checking and stock counting.
Maintain cleanliness and overall discipline within the showroom.
Handle customer queries and coordinate with the supervisor for complaints or special requirements.
Follow company policies, store procedures, and working schedules.
Perform other retail-related duties assigned by the Store Manager/HOD.
Requirements
Minimum qualification: Plus Two / equivalent.
Previous experience in retail, showroom, sales, or customer service will be an advantage.
Freshers with valuable communication and customer-handling skills may also apply.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is an advantage.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to work according to retail/store working hours.
Candidates from Thrissur and nearby areas are preferred.
