Patient Care
Receive and assess patients as per nursing protocols.
Monitor and record vital signs, clinical condition, intake-output, and other relevant parameters.
Provide comprehensive nursing care according to the patient's condition and treatment plan.
Administer medications safely as prescribed by the treating physician.
Perform procedures within the scope of training, competence, and hospital authorization.
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions.
Identify changes in the patient's condition and promptly report them to the concerned doctor and nursing in-charge.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care where applicable.
Maintain patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
Provide appropriate care for critically ill, dependent, elderly, and vulnerable patients.

B. Medication Management
Verify medication orders before administration.




Follow the principles of protected medication administration.
Check medication name, dose, route, timing, patient identity, allergies, and expiry before administration.
Document medication administration accurately.
Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and report them promptly.
Maintain controlled/high-alert medications as per hospital policy.

C. Documentation & Records
Maintain accurate and timely nursing records.
Document assessments, nursing interventions, medication administration, patient response, and care provided.
Ensure proper maintenance of patient case sheets and nursing documentation.
Maintain handover records and communicate relevant clinical information during shift changes.
Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
