About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DGFT Consultant with practical knowledge of Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), DGFT procedures, export-import schemes and client documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Handle DGFT & Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) related assignments
Prepare and file applications on the DGFT portal
Handle EPCG, Advance Authorisation, DFIA, RoDTEP / RoSCTL and other export-import schemes
Handle EPCG Export Obligation (EO), amendments, redemption and closure
Prepare and verify DGFT applications, declarations and supporting documents
Interpret FTP, HBP, DGFT notifications and public notices
Handle DGFT queries, deficiencies and follow-ups
Coordinate with clients for required documents and information
Research recent government schemes, policy updates and export-import perks
Prepare client-specific solutions based on applicable FTP provisions
Coordinate with internal teams, clients and government authorities wherever required
Maintain proper records and track ongoing cases





Required Skills
Solid practical knowledge of DGFT & FTP
Hands-on experience with EPCG and Advance Authorisation
Knowledge of DFIA, RoDTEP / RoSCTL will be an advantage
Good documentation and drafting skills
Ability to understand and interpret DGFT notifications and policies
Good client-handling and communication skills
Strong research and analytical abilities
Valuable knowledge of MS Excel & MS Office
Ability to independently handle multiple client assignments
