We are looking for a skilled PHP/WordPress Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP and WordPress development, with experience in creating and managing websites and applications. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites and applications.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code.
Troubleshoot and resolve website and application issues.
Ensure high performance, availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure project success.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Optimize websites for performance and scalability.
Perform website updates and maintenance tasks regularly.
Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a PHP/WordPress Developer.
Solid understanding of PHP back-end development.
Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Experience with WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
Knowledge of MySQL databases and SQL queries.
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with up-to-date frameworks such as Laravel.
Experience with web hosting environments and server management.
Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
