Team: Strategic Sourcing

Location: River HQ, Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities
Drive strategic relationships with contract manufacturers, managing quotes, NPI (Current Product Introduction), ramp-up schedules, yield optimization, and batch delivery
Evaluate Bill of Materials (BOMs), identify second-source components to mitigate supply chain risks, and resolve component obsolescence (EOL) issues
Leverage existing network of chipmakers, authorized distributors, and local/global component vendors to secure competitive pricing, lead times, and allocation access
Negotiate unit costs, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity), and payment terms while maintaining optimal buffer inventory
Collaborate closely with internal hardware engineering teams to evaluate technical datasheets and alternative components without compromising product performance





Ideal Candidate
5 - 8 years in electronics sourcing, technical procurement, or supply chain within the EMS/hardware manufacturing domain
Robust understanding of active/passive components, microcontrollers, power management ICs, PCBs, and SMT manufacturing processes
Established relationships with key component distributors (e.g., Arrow, Avnet, Mouser, Future Electronics) and regional EMS providers
Advanced BOM analysis skills, cost modeling, and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field
