Mission Simulation & Aerospace Modeling
- Develop and run mission simulations using ANSYS STK for aerospace and space systems.
Model and analyze satellite trajectories, constellations, and coverage patterns.
Simulate communication links between satellites, UAVs, and ground stations.
Aerospace System Analysis
- Analyze orbital parameters, revisit times, and mission coverage.
Evaluate line-of-sight, communication access, and sensor coverage.
Study mission feasibility for satellite and UAV systems.
Model Development
- Build simulation scenarios including:
Satellites
Aircraft / UAV platforms
Ground stations
Sensors and payloads
Perform parametric analysis to evaluate system performance.
Mission Planning
- Support aerospace mission planning studies.
Analyze satellite constellation performance and ground coverage.
Simulate defense, communication, or Earth observation missions.
Documentation
- Prepare technical reports and simulation summaries.
Document simulation workflows and methodologies.
Collaboration
- Work with aerospace engineers, simulation specialists, and defense project teams.
Participate in technical reviews and mission analysis discussions.
Learning & Development
- Undergo training in:
ANSYS STK
Mission analysis
Aerospace simulation workflows
Continuously develop expertise in digital mission engineering.
Skills
Must Have
Aerospace & Mission Analysis
- Solid fundamentals in orbital mechanics
Understanding of satellite constellations
Basic knowledge of flight dynamics
Knowledge of navigation and aerospace systems
STK / Mission Simulation (Training can be provided)
- Basic understanding of mission simulation tools
Interest in System Tool Kit (STK) for space and aerospace simulation
Ability to simulate satellite orbits, ground stations, and communication links
Analytical Skills
- Ability to interpret simulation results
Problem solving and engineering analysis
Robust mathematical and physics background
Optional Skills
- Exposure to ANSYS STK
Knowledge of UAV mission planning
Programming in Python / MATLAB
Knowledge of RF communication basics
Exposure to GIS / geospatial systems
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering (preferred) or related discipline.
