Designation: NPD Executive / Manager – Plastics Packaging

Experience: 5–10 Years

Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai (also need to visit factory – Boisar and vasai on

need basis)

Factory Visit: Factory visits will be required on a need and requirement basis

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or candidates with up to 1 month notice period

CTC – 10 to 12 LPA

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD qualified with strong exposure to

Plastics Packaging to manage current product development, packaging procurement,

vendor development, and supply chain activities. The candidate should have hands-

Key Responsibilities

• Manage New Product Development (NPD) activities related to plastic

packaging materials.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers for plastic

packaging.

• Source and procure plastic packaging materials, components, and related

products.





• Develop and maintain a solid vendor base as per business requirements.

• Coordinate with vendors for samples, prototypes, trials, modifications, and

final development.

• Work closely with NPD, Quality, Production, Marketing, and other internal

teams for successful product development.

Required Experience:

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in NPD, Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply

Chain.

• Strong experience specifically in Plastics Packaging is required.

• Hands-on experience in vendor identification and development.

• Strong vendor management and supplier relationship management skills.

• Experience in procurement and sourcing of plastic packaging

materials/components.

• Good understanding of plastic packaging development, manufacturing

processes, and vendor capabilities.

• Experience in commercial negotiation, costing, MOQ, lead time, and payment

.
