Role & responsibilities
Teach English to senior secondary students, primarily Grades 11 and 12.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare students effectively for board examinations and ensure solid academic outcomes.
Develop lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and study material.
Monitor student progress and provide regular academic feedback.
Mentor students in English language, literature, grammar, writing, and communication skills.
Contribute to departmental curriculum planning and academic initiatives.
Support literary and co-curricular activities such as debates, elocution, creative writing, and school publications.
Maintain accurate academic records and documentation.
Collaborate with colleagues and academic leadership on school programmes and initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile
Solid command of English language, literature, grammar, and written communication.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and presentation skills.




Strong understanding of senior-secondary pedagogy and CBSE curriculum requirements.
Ability to mentor students and support their academic and overall development.
Passion for literature and ability to engage students through innovative teaching practices.
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school leadership.

Educational Qualifications
B.A. (Hons.) in English from a reputed university full-time programme.
M.A. in English from a reputed university full-time programme.
B.Ed. from a reputed, government-recognised university.
Candidates must have completed all the above qualifications through full-time programmes

Experience
10 to 15 years of post-qualification teaching experience.
At least 5 years of experience teaching Grades 10 to 12.
