Designs, develops, and implements customized tables, queries, and reports.
Gathers information about report needs, objectives, functions, and features and makes recommendations for solutions
Analyzes and consolidates data to create desired output
Create enhancements to existing reports
Researches current reporting methods, processes, and tools. Determines usage and recommends plan for implementation
Coordinates with other departments to revise current reports and ensure that business requirements are designed into new reports.
Assist other report writers with technical approach and issues.
Monitors customer usage, upgrades and reporting tools.
Manage projects/processes
Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU LL BRING
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of report writing experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
Key skillset:
Expert PostgreSQL query building skills




Expert in optimizing PostgreSQL queries to minimize load on system resources and take best advantage of the database architecture.
Deep understanding of Postgres database setting
Proficient in building and testing automated reports.
Prefer experience in Apache Superset and/or Power BI/Power Automate
Experience with Jira Software Project tool preferred
Other KSAs:
Excellent technical reporting and data analysis skills
Advanced understanding of development processes, including design, programming, and quality assurance
Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans
Must understand business requirements and database technology
Robust communications and interpersonal skills
PCs and various reporting software applications
Experience with project management and methodology
