nJob Summary

nWe are looking for an experienced SQL Server & PostgreSQL DBA with 4+ years of hands-on experience managing production databases hosted across On-Premises and AWS settings . The candidate will be responsible for database availability, performance, security, backup/recovery, compliance, and operational support.

nKey Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server and PostgreSQL production environments.n
Manage databases hosted on On-Premises and AWS infrastructure .n
Perform database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.n
Manage SQL Server Always On, PostgreSQL Replication, HA/DR , and failover activities.n
Perform database backup, restore, recovery, and DR testing .n
Perform performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting.n
Manage database growth, storage, and capacity planning.n
Implement database security including users,



roles, permissions, encryption, TDE, and least-privilege access .n
Support security audits, compliance requirements, access reviews, and audit findings remediation .n
Monitor database health, performance, replication, backups, storage, and availability.n
Automate routine DBA activities using T-SQL, PowerShell, Bash, or Python .n
Handle production incidents, perform RCA , and implement preventive measures.n
Maintain DBA documentation, SOPs, security controls, and operational procedures.n

nRequired Skills
n

n
4+ years of hands-on DBA experience.n
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL .n
Experience managing databases on On-Premises and AWS-hosted infrastructure .n
Solid knowledge of backup/recovery, performance tuning, HA/DR, replication, and database security .n
Valuable experience with PostgreSQL TimescaleDB .n
Experience with SQL
