Job Description:
Very Strong knowledge and understanding of IPS and all its components.
Very Robust knowledge of all aspects of print.
These incudes, but is not limited to, form creation, fonts, layouts, overlays, pagedefs, formdefs, and all various aspects of print formatting.
Solid working knowledge of the current mainframe print product (ESF/VPS, etc) so you can understand what a migration would entail.
General knowledge of RACF
Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP & VTAM)
General knowledge of JCL
Strong knowledge of USS
Robust understanding of REXX
Working understanding Z/os
Working understanding of product installation in Z/os
Strong knowledge of SDSF and JES2 and system operations.
Valuable knowledge of remote printing
Positive working knowledge of remote / local print servers (not on the mainframe).
