Role & responsibilities
Safety Officer with experience in Oil & Gas onshore operations, responsible for implementing HSE standards and maintaining secure working conditions across site activities. Skilled in Permit to Work (PTW), HIRA/JSA, SIMOPS, LOTO, hot work, confined space, work at height, lifting and rigging, gas testing, HS safety, fire prevention, and emergency response.
Experienced in conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, safety training, incident/near-miss investigations, contractor safety monitoring, and HSE audits. Robust knowledge of identifying hazards, implementing corrective actions, maintaining safety documentation, and ensuring compliance with client and statutory HSE requirements.
