Role Description The E-Commerce Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations related to online sales channels, including marketplaces and payment gateways.

Responsibilities include recording and reconciling e-commerce transactions, monitoring receivables and payables, and ensuring accurate GST and other tax compliance. The role involves preparing regular financial reports, analyzing sales data, tracking discounts, returns, and commissions, and assisting with budgeting and cost control.

The E-Commerce Accountant will collaborate with operations, sales, and management teams to address discrepancies, improve financial processes, and support audits. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software, and accurate transaction recording and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, marketplace fee structures,



and basic understanding of IPR or online services business models.
- Proficiency in GST, TDS, and other tax compliance relevant to e-commerce, including return filing and documentation.
- Good analytical and Excel skills for financial reporting, variance analysis, and handling large transaction datasets.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced workplace.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance, operations, and management teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Prior experience in an e-commerce or technology-driven business is preferred; familiarity with Indian regulatory and financial reporting standards is beneficial.
