About Retail Credit
The Retail Credit department in the Bank is a Credit Underwriting department for all retail products of the Bank. Would be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of portfolio quality and for ensuring smooth credit appraisal processes in the Region.

Zonal Credit Manager will be a team leader role wherein all Regional Credit Managers would be reporting. Core job will be to ensure smoot functioning of credit Appraisal activities undertaken by RCMs. Responsible for building a quality portfolio. Ensure underwriting adherence to the processes designed by the bank
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth functioning across zones by meeting productivity benchmarks and defined TATs for Asha Loan underwriting across regions.
- Oversee quality of credit decisions and portfolio performance across regions, ensuring alignment with Asha-specific underwriting frameworks.
- Drive consistency in credit decisions across regions by guiding RCMs on interpretation of policy, deviations and risk assessment in informal segments.
- Monitor portfolio health (FPD, delinquency trends, segment-wise risk indicators) and initiate zonal corrective strategies.
- Ensure adherence to audit,
policy and compliance standards across all regions.
- Work closely with CO, Risk and Business teams to design and refine Asha underwriting norms and risk controls.
- Drive process efficiencies, digital adoption and participation in pilot initiatives specific to Asha Loans.
- Support expansion to current geographies and channels with controlled risk approach.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across Credit, Business, Ops and Risk functions to ensure alignment on growth vs quality.
- Lead capability building of Regional Credit Managers and ensure succession readiness.
- Drive team engagement, productivity and attrition management across zones.
Qualifications
- Graduate / Post- Graduation (MBA/ CA preferred) from good institute
- Experience in retail credit with team handling.
