Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced Performance Engineer to play a crucial role in assessing, analyzing, and optimizing the performance of our software applications. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying the root cause of performance issues reported by clients, and collaborating with development teams to implement performance enhancements. You will also contribute to the design and implementation of performance testing strategies and methodologies, ensuring the scalability and responsiveness of our products.

Job Functions / Responsibilities: Software Performance Support

- Conduct performance testing on software applications and investigating the root cause of performance issues.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

- Analysis of tomcat logs





- Creating indexes to optimize query performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system architects, to implement performance optimizations.

- Design and develop performance testing scripts and scenarios.

- Monitor system performance in production environments and proactively address any performance-related issues.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance engineering.

- Document performance testing processes, results, and recommendations.

Skill Requirements:

- MSSQL and/or MySQL (database query troubleshooting, query optimization and query plan analysis)

- Network capturing tools (including ping, tracert, Fiddler and developer tools)

- Java / Core Java - New Relic / Splunk / any similar tools

- Tomcat infrastructure, analysis of Tomcat Logs

- Basic understanding of server architecture

Position Prerequisites:

- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Performance Engineer or in a similar role.

- Strong proficiency in performance testing tools and methodologies.

- Experience with performance profiling, analysis, and tuning.

- Proficiency in programming languages.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ready to work in Night Shifts

- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science (OR) equivalent work experience.
