Job Summary

Infra - DevOps - works under the guidance of senior engineers to design, implement, automate, and support infrastructure and platform capabilities that enable reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of applications. The role focuses primarily on DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure‑as‑code, cloud environments, monitoring, and operational reliability, with secondary contribution to application development across the stack where needed. Partners with application teams, SRE/Infrastructure teams, Business Analysts, and senior engineers to understand requirements, clarify feasibility, and ensure non‑functional requirements (performance, resilience, security, observability) are met. Contributes to project planning by providing input into estimates and identifying basic technical and operational risks within their assigned scope, escalating issues to senior team members as required.

Job Responsibilities

- Contribute to the design, build, and maintenance ofCI/CD pipelinesto automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment processes across environments.




- Implement and maintaininfrastructure‑as‑codesolutions (e.g., templates/scripts) to provision and manage cloud and/or on‑premise infrastructure in a consistent, repeatable, and auditable way.
- Support and enhancecloud infrastructure(e.g., compute, storage, networking, security groups, identity and access) in alignment with Aon architecture and security standards.
- Build and supportmonitoring, logging, and alertingsolutions to improve observability, proactively identify issues, and support incident response and problem management.
- Collaborate closely with application developers, data engineers, QA, and SRE/operations teams to ensure smooth deployments, setting stability, and effective troubleshooting.
- Assist with maintaining and upgrading platform and infrastructure components in line with approved change requests, ensuring adherence to change and release management processes.
- Contribute toautomationof recurring operational tasks (e.g., environment setup, configuration, housekeeping, backup, scaling) to improve efficiency and reduce manual error.
- Participate in root cause analysis and remediation activities for incidents, and help implement preventive measures to improve overall system reliability.
- Embrace and promoteAgile and DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and shift‑left quality and security.
- Provide timely,



accurate updates on the status of infrastructure and DevOps activities to support program and project management reporting.
- Share knowledge, document runbooks and standard operating procedures, and contribute to internal communities of practice for Infra and DevOps.

Skills and Experience

- Hands‑on experience withCI/CD tools and workflows(e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) including build, release, and environment promotion.
- Experience withinfrastructure‑as‑code (IaC)and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, ARM/Bicep, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar).
- Working knowledge of at least one majorcloud platform(preferably Azure AWS/GCP also valuable), including core services for compute, storage, networking, identity, and security.
- Experience withcontainerization and microservices(e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, container registries) and related deployment patterns.
- Strong understanding ofDevOps and SRE practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, capacity management, performance tuning, and incident management.
- Familiarity withobservability tools(e.g., Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, or similar) and log/metric/trace analysis.
- Experience integrating or supportingREST APIsand related authentication/authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
- Working knowledge ofscripting/programmingfor automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).
- Basic understanding ofDBMS technologies(e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle) and caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis) from an operations and performance perspective.
- Familiarity withsecurity best practicesfor infrastructure and pipelines (e.g., secrets management, least privilege access, secure configurations, vulnerability scanning).
