Role Description The Senior Associate Veterinarian (MVSc) will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals in a clinical setting. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram involves conducting consultations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing treatments, and performing routine and advanced procedures. The role includes overseeing patient care plans, reviewing diagnostic reports, and collaborating with other veterinary professionals and support staff to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and client communication. The veterinarian will also contribute to case discussions, mentor junior team members, and support implementation of clinic protocols and best practices.



Additional responsibilities may include client education, participation in community outreach initiatives, and coordination with VetXplore partners on clinical standards and quality improvement.
Qualifications

- Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) or equivalent veterinary postgraduate degree, along with a recognized veterinary license/registration.
- Solid clinical skills in small animal medicine, diagnostics, and surgery, with experience managing a diverse caseload.
- Ability to interpret laboratory results, imaging reports, and other diagnostic findings to develop effective treatment plans.
- Excellent communication and client education skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care in clear, accessible language.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, mentor junior veterinarians or support staff, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Sound decision-making, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and patient safety.
- Comfort with digital medical records and standard veterinary practice software; openness to using digital tools and platforms supported by VetXplore.
- Prior experience in a busy small animal clinic or hospital setting in an urban or semi-urban environment is highly desirable.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, ethical practice, and adherence to relevant veterinary regulations and standards.
