Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Embedded Hardware Design Engineer to design and develop next-generation automotive electronic products. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in digital and mixed-signal hardware design , schematic capture, board bring-up, high-speed interfaces, and automotive communication protocols, along with experience collaborating across multi-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze customer requirements and prepare detailed hardware requirement specifications.
- Design, develop, and validate automotive embedded hardware systems.
- Perform schematic capture, design reviews, and provide layout guidance to PCB design teams.
- Execute board bring-up activities, debugging, validation, and root cause analysis.
- Prepare technical documents including test plans, test reports, engineering change requests (ECRs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and project status presentations.
- Generate and maintain EBOMs, manage component lifecycles, support obsolescence management, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and system engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within quality targets.
- Support prototype builds, design verification, and production releases.

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Automotive Embedded Hardware Design .




- Hands-on expertise in Analog, Digital, and Mixed Signal Circuit Design .
- Experience with Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, and FPGA-based Designs .
- Strong knowledge of Schematic Capture and PCB Layout Review using Altium Designer 22+ .
- Experience in Analog Circuit Simulation using LT Spice, Saber, or equivalent tools .
- Positive understanding of automotive communication interfaces and protocols:
- I2C, SPI, USB
- CAN-FD, LIN
- Automotive Ethernet (100/1000T1)
- Strong understanding of High-Speed Interfaces:
- DDR3 / DDR4 / DDR5
- MIPI
- FPD Link
- PCI / PCIe
- Ethernet 100/1000T
- Hands-on experience with board testing, debugging, and validation.
- Experience using lab equipment including:
- Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO)
- Logic Analyzers
- Precision DMMs
- Basic soldering and rework skills on SMD components.

Preferred Skills

- SI/PI Simulation using Hyper Lynx or SIWave .
- Experience in EMI/EMC debugging and compliance testing.
- Knowledge of DFMEA methodologies.
- Exposure to Medini tool for Functional Safety Analysis.
- Familiarity with PLM tools and product lifecycle management processes.
