Job Summary

We are looking for a senior Quality Head with extensive experience in Automotive Foundry and Metallurgy to lead the overall quality function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, managing foundry quality processes, handling customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

- Lead the overall Quality Management function for automotive foundry operations.
- Establish, implement, and monitor quality standards, systems, and processes.
- Manage quality processes for SG Iron and Grey Iron components.
- Monitor foundry quality parameters and ensure process consistency.
- Oversee sand testing, metallurgical testing, and in-process quality control.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and quality performance across manufacturing processes.

Customer Quality & Audits

- Manage customer quality requirements, complaints, and escalations.
- Coordinate and lead customer, system, and process audits.
- Drive root cause analysis and ensure effective Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Develop action plans to address customer complaints and recurring quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements.

Process Improvement

- Work closely with Production, Engineering, and other departments to improve quality performance.
- Identify process gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Drive initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, scrap, and customer complaints.
- Monitor quality KPIs and implement continuous improvement programs.
- Strengthen quality systems and process controls across the foundry.

Team Leadership

- Lead, manage, and mentor the Quality and Metallurgy teams.
- Set quality objectives and monitor team performance.




- Build a strong quality-focused culture across manufacturing operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support for complex quality and metallurgical issues.

Required Skills & Experience

- 20+ years of relevant experience in Automotive Foundry Quality.
- Strong experience in Foundry Quality / Metallurgy leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of SG Iron and Grey Iron.
- Strong understanding of sand testing and foundry processes.
- Hands-on experience in in-process quality control.
- Strong customer handling and complaint resolution experience.
- Proven experience in handling customer, system, and process audits.
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy from a full-time program is mandatory.
- Candidates without a full-time Metallurgy degree will not be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be:

- A senior Metallurgy / Quality skilled from the Automotive Foundry industry.
- Strong in SG Iron, Grey Iron, sand testing, and foundry quality processes.
- Experienced in managing customer quality and complex quality escalations.
- Proven in leading audits and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong in team leadership and cross-functional coordination.
- Results-oriented with a solid focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Experience : 15 - 20

Timing : 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Working Shift : Day Shift (Onsite)
