We are looking for an experienced UK Accountant with strong knowledge of UK accounting, financial reporting, VAT, and management accounts.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of UK Accounting and UK GAAP (FRS 102 / FRS 105)
- Valuable understanding of UK VAT and payroll accounting
- Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial reporting skills
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
- Conduct Budget vs. Actual analysis
- Perform MoM and YoY variance analysis
- Provide financial insights and management commentary
- Coordinate VAT-related queries with clients and tax advisers
- Support MTD VAT compliance
