About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical E-commerce Marketplace Intern to support our business across platforms such as Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, AJIO, Nykaa, quick-commerce platforms, and other online marketplaces.

The intern will work closely with multiple teams, including marketplace marketing, advertising, operations, cataloguing, inventory management, and performance analytics. This role is suitable for someone who wants hands-on exposure to how an e-commerce business operates across multiple marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day operations across Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, AJIO, Nykaa, quick-commerce platforms, and other marketplaces.
- Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining product listings, catalogues, attributes, images, pricing, and inventory.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure products are listed correctly and are live across marketplaces.
- Support marketplace advertising activities, including campaign tracking, keyword analysis, budget monitoring, and performance reporting.
- Monitor significant marketplace metrics such as sales, traffic, conversion rate, advertising spend, return on ad spend, cancellations, returns, and inventory availability.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Assist with promotional campaigns, marketplace events, discounting, pricing updates, and deal participation.
- Identify listing errors, suppressed products, inventory issues, pricing mismatches, and other operational concerns.
- Coordinate with marketplace support teams to resolve catalogue, inventory, account, or listing-related issues.
- Conduct competitor, category, pricing, and product research.




- Support the team with data analysis and provide basic insights to improve marketplace performance.
- Work with marketing, catalogue, operations, supply chain, finance, and creative teams on marketplace-related projects.

Requirements

- Availability for a full-time internship of 3 to 6 months.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce and online marketplaces.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, filters, sorting, pivot tables, and data organisation.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn marketplace operations, advertising, analytics, and catalogue management.

Preferred Qualifications

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, Management, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Prior internship, project, or academic exposure to e-commerce, digital marketing, marketplace advertising, or data analysis would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Myntra, AJIO, Nykaa, or quick-commerce platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
