A leading European manufacturer is establishing its India shared-services centre and has partnered with Flexiple to hire an HR generalist who can support both shop-floor and shared-services staff. Role Overview
As an HR Generalist, you will handle employee relations, attendance, and compliance for a mixed plant-and-office workforce, acting as the trusted HR point of contact for managers on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Workforce Support
- Handle grievances, discipline, and attendance matters for plant and shared-services staff
- Partner with plant and shift managers on day-to-day people issues
- Support onboarding and engagement across both shop-floor and office teams
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with labour law and factory-related regulations
- Maintain accurate HR records and support statutory audits
- Administer HR policies uniformly across sites and shifts
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3 to 7 years in HR generalist roles, ideally with shop-floor exposure
- Comfort handling employee-relations and discipline matters directly
- Working knowledge of Indian labour and factory-compliance law
- Transparent written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to a manufacturing or shared-services environment
- Familiarity with the Factories Act and related labour compliance
- An MBA or postgraduate qualification in HR
