Role Description The Junior Architect role at Onesto & Mercado is a full-time, in office position based in Kochi. The Junior Architect will support senior architects in developing architectural designs, preparing drawings and plans, and assisting with project documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with project teams, coordinating with engineers and construction professionals, and contributing to design reviews and quality checks. The role also involves assisting in integrating design requirements, tracking project progress,



and ensuring adherence to building codes and company standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into detailed drawings and plans.
- Mininum 1 year Experience prefered
- Familiarity with Project Management principles, including planning, coordination, and documentation of construction projects.
- Basic understanding of Integration between architectural plans and structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Comfort with Software or related digital tools used in architecture (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling software).
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in Kochi and surrounding regions.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective communication skills and willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior professionals.
