Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Linux administration, cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring, and reliability engineering, along with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure. Exposure to Java-based applications and troubleshooting is required. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fully remote environment with the potential for long-term conversion to a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure.
- Drive SRE best practices including reliability, observability, incident management, and performance optimization.
- Manage and support Linux-based production environments.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and operational excellence.
- Support Java-based applications by analyzing logs, performance metrics, and deployment issues.
- Manage cloud resources and services within Microsoft Azure.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities when required.




- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
- Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Strong scripting skills using Shell, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, or similar tools).
- Exposure to Java applications, JVM monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

- Azure certifications.
- Experience working in large-scale production environments.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices.
- Experience with incident management and reliability metrics (SLI, SLO, SLA).
