Key Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain server-side/backend applications using C/C++.- Enhance, modernize, and refactor existing C/C++ applications to improve functionality and maintainability.- Participate across the complete SDLC, including design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance.- Analyze existing code and implement improvements to performance, scalability, reliability, and code quality.- Work with the existing Python-based test framework to develop, maintain, and execute automated tests.- Debug and troubleshoot application and production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.- Work with backend data stores and write, optimize,



and troubleshoot SQL queries.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust backend solutions.- Perform code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.- Contribute to modernization initiatives and continuous improvement of the existing application architecture.- Support deployment and maintenance activities across development, testing, and production environments.Required Skills & Experience : - Strong hands-on experience in C/C++ backend development.- Experience working on and modernizing legacy or existing C/C++ applications.- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and deployment.- Hands-on experience with Python, preferably with Python-based test automation frameworks.- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.- Understanding of backend application architecture and server-side development.- Experience optimizing applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles.- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team workplace.
