About the Role

We're looking for a senior, relationship-driven fund raising professional to lead our direct investor acquisition and capital mobilisation efforts. This role calls for the commercial instinct of an experienced fund raiser, the relationship depth of a private banker, and the investment fluency to engage confidently with sophisticated investors on strategy, risk, and returns. You'll work closely with the founding team and play a key role in building our direct investor acquisition engine from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Acquisition & Prospecting

- Build a curated pipeline of HNI, UHNI, and Family Office prospects through personal networks, referrals, and proactive outreach
- Qualify prospects based on investment appetite, risk profile, and strategic fit
- Manage the full acquisition lifecycle, from first contact through documentation and capital closure
- Maintain a forecasted pipeline with regular updates on status and expected closures

HNI & UHNI Engagement

- Lead one-on-one meetings, presentations, and investor events
- Present the firm's investment philosophy, credit strategy, and risk framework




- Handle due diligence queries and documentation with a high standard of service
- Identify reinvestment and referral opportunities within the existing investor base

Family Office Coverage

- Build relationships with Family Office principals and investment committees
- Understand each office's mandate and decision-making process
- Deliver investment-committee-grade presentations on portfolio construction and credit risk
- Position the firm as a long-term, trusted investment partner

Fund Raising & Capital Mobilisation

- Consistently achieve AUM and fund raising targets
- Represent the firm at HNI/UHNI forums, Family Office summits, and private wealth events
- Develop investor proposals and communication materials alongside internal teams
- Lead site visits and management meetings to support capital decisions

Investor Communication

- Keep investors informed on market context, performance, and portfolio updates
- Stay current on alternative investment trends and market intelligence
- Ensure a smooth handover of committed investors to the relationship team

What We're Looking For

- Postgraduate degree in Finance, MBA, or related field (CFA/CFP a strong plus)
- 8–10 years in direct fund raising, private banking, wealth management, or alternative investment sales
- Demonstrated track record raising capital from HNI/UHNI investors, with clear evidence of AUM mobilised
- Experience converting Family Offices into committed capital
- Prior experience with AIF, PMS, structured credit, private equity, or real estate funds preferred
- An active network within Mumbai's HNI/UHNI and Family Office community (reach in Delhi, Ahmedabad, or Pune is a plus)
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Self-driven and entrepreneurial, comfortable building a book of business independently
