About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Editor to join our Editorial, Design and Publishing team on a fixed-term contract. This role focuses on editing, formatting, and publishing technical and energy-related research content while ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and clarity. You will collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions and work primarily during EMEA business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit content in line with editorial standards and guidance from team leads and regional managers.
- Review documents, charts, tables, and graphics for consistency, branding, grammar, and style.
- Update and maintain content across publishing platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Edit, format, and publish reports to ensure quality, readability, and consistency.
- Deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.
- Support global editorial teams during public holidays, annual leave, wellbeing days, and other absences.
- Collaborate effectively with international stakeholders in a virtual team environment.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Publishing, English, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of professional editing or sub-editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.




- Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Familiarity with content management systems; experience with publishing platforms is advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to editorial excellence.
