Position: Director – DevSecOps.

About the RoleWe are seeking a Security Director to establish and lead our enterprise security function. This is a unique chance to build a security organization from the ground up, define strategy, and drive cultural transformation across engineering.You will own all aspects of product security, DevSecOps, compliance, and risk management. You will build and lead a team of security professionals while partnering closely with 10+ product engineering teams.

Roles & Responsibility:Define and execute the security vision, strategy,



and multi-year roadmapBuild and mentor a high-performing central security teamOwn ISO27001 ISMS implementation and drive certification readinessDrive DevSecOps transformation with shift-left security practicesLead containerization security strategy across business unitsOwn Kubernetes security (Pod Security Standards, network policies, admission controllers)Establish SIEM implementation, security monitoring, and logging standardsDefine secure configuration baselines for infrastructure, cloud, and K8s environmentsImplement and scale a Security Champions program across product teamsLead selection and deployment of security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST)Serve as primary technical point of contact for internal and external auditorsRepresent security at executive leadership and board levelOversee vulnerability management, incident response, and penetration testing

Desired Profile: -15+ years in information security with 5+ years in leadership rolesProven track record building security teams in software/SaaS organizationsDeep expertise in application security, DevSecOps, and secure SDLCStrong software development background with hands-on programming experience (Java, Python, JavaScript)Deep understanding of software architecture, microservices, and API securityKnowledge of database security (SQL, NoSQL)



and data protection techniquesDeep experience with Kubernetes security (Pod Security Standards, admission controllers, network policies, RBAC)Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-codeExperience implementing SIEM solutions (Splunk, ELK) and security monitoringUnderstanding of AI/ML security considerationsFamiliarity with cryptography, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, JWT), and IAM

Security ExpertiseExpert knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25, and common vulnerability classesExperience with security tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) and threat modeling methodologiesDeep understanding of secure coding practices and code review techniques

ComplianceHands-on experience with ISO27001 implementation and certificationFamiliarity with SOC2, NIST CSF, and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, DPDP)

Preferred QualificationsCISSP, CISM, CSSLP, or equivalent certificationsExperience in B2B enterprise software or SaaS product companiesTrack record of successful ISO27001 or SOC2 certificationsExperience managing geographically distributed teamsBackground in regulated industries with strict compliance requirementsKnowledge of emerging areas: AI/ML security, supply chain security, zero trust architecture
