Working Hours: EST (US) Hours - 6:00/7:00pm - 2:00/3:00am
Key Requirements
- Strong hands-on Oracle DBA experience in production environments
- Experience with Oracle 12c and/or 19c
- Production Oracle database patching
- Backup, recovery, restore, and environment refresh experience
- Oracle performance troubleshooting and tuning
- Capacity management, tablespaces, disk utilization, and database health
- Strong PL/SQL development experience
- Ability to troubleshoot complex and legacy database schemas
- Experience developing protected production data-fix/corrective scripts
- Experience reviewing SQL/PL/SQL scripts before production deployment
- Production release and emergency hotfix deployment experience
- Strong production incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Experience working in regulated financial services or similarly controlled enterprise environments
- Strong change-control and release-management discipline
- Cloud database experience; Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) strongly preferred
- AWS or Azure database experience will also be considered
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead production issue discussions and coordinate with vendors and technical teams
- Ability to work independently across U.S. and India time zones
- Regular experience using AI development/productivity tools as part of daily technical work
