Job Description – NPD Executive Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a NPD Executive Intern to support the New Product Development team in researching, developing, and coordinating innovative nutraceutical and health & wellness products. The candidate will work closely with R&D;, QA, Regulatory, Procurement, Packaging, and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in recent product research and development based on market trends and consumer requirements.
- Research nutraceutical ingredients, formulations, dosage forms, and product concepts.
- Conduct competitor and market research to identify new product opportunities.
- Assist in preparing NPD briefs, product specifications, and development documents.
- Coordinate with R&D; and other departments for product samples and trials.
- Assist in sample evaluation and comparison of new products.
- Maintain records of ingredients, suppliers, samples, specifications, COAs, and product development status.




- Coordinate with QA and Regulatory teams for required product documentation and compliance-related information.
- Support packaging and marketing teams by providing product and ingredient information.
- Track product development timelines and follow up with relevant departments.
- Prepare Excel trackers, reports, presentations, and NPD documentation.
- Assist in pre-launch activities and maintain proper records throughout the product development cycle.

Skills Required

- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Interest in nutraceuticals, supplements, nutrition, and product development.
- Ability to work with multiple teams and meet deadlines.

Qualification

- B.Sc./M.Sc. – Food Technology, Nutrition or related field.
- Freshers and candidates with relevant internship/project experience can apply.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
