Job Description

Senior QA Automation Engineer / QA Automation Lead We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer / QA Automation Lead with 7–10 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, API/UI automation, and ReadyAPI/SOAP UI Pro, along with the ability to mentor QA engineers and drive end-to-end quality initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Lead and drive end-to-end QA and test automation initiatives, ensuring high-quality and reliable software releases. • Mentor and guide a team of 4–5 QA engineers, supporting their technical growth and delivery. • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks from scratch. • Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts using Python and Robot Framework. • Perform UI and API automation using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, ReadyAPI/SOAP UI Pro, and other relevant technologies. • Contribute to both manual and automation testing activities as required. • Design and execute comprehensive regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites. • Set up and manage Jenkins pipelines for automated test execution and continuous integration. • Define test strategies,



establish quality processes, identify automation opportunities, and ensure adequate test coverage. • Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and work closely with development and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. • Demonstrate strong ownership and independently drive QA initiatives from concept through delivery. • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices, frameworks, and testing methodologies. • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, development teams, product teams, and other QA teams. • Leverage AI tools and AI-driven solutions to improve test automation efficiency, productivity, coverage, and overall quality. • Continuously evaluate and adopt modern testing tools, frameworks, and practices to improve QA processes. Mandatory Skills & Experience • 7–10 years of overall experience in QA/testing. • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Robot Framework – mandatory. • Strong expertise in: o Python / Java o Robot Framework o Selenium o API Automation o UI Automation o ReadyAPI / SOAP UI Pro • Proven experience in designing and developing automation frameworks from scratch. • Hands-on experience in Jenkins and CI/CD-based automated test execution. • Strong understanding of manual and automation testing methodologies.



• Experience in developing and maintaining regression and automation test suites. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and independently drive initiatives from concept to delivery. • Experience mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers or team members. • AI-first mindset, with the ability and willingness to leverage AI tools and solutions to enhance testing efficiency, productivity, automation, and quality. Good to Have • Experience with modern AI-assisted testing and automation tools. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD practices. • Experience in defining QA processes, automation strategies, and quality metrics. • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional engineering teams.
