Songdew.com is a platform built for independent musicians to distribute, promote and monetize their music.

And Songdew TV is our 24×7 television channel dedicated to independent music — taking exciting new music beyond streaming platforms and putting it in front of audiences across India.

We are now looking for an Intern – Music Curator to join our team.

This is not an internship where you will spend four months observing from the sidelines. You will work directly with the music that goes on Songdew TV and interact with artists from across the country.

What will you do?

- Discover and curate exciting Indian independent music videos for Songdew TV
- Reach out to artists through email, social media and direct communication to bring their music to television
- Run direct outreach and marketing programmes to discover new artists and music
- Review music videos and identify content suitable for different programmes and playlists
- Write engaging titles, descriptions and metadata for music videos
- Keep discovering what's happening across India's independent music scene

Who are we looking for?

Someone who genuinely loves Indian music and is curious enough to keep discovering more.

You should be a positive communicator, comfortable reaching out to people you don't know,



have strong written English and be organised enough to manage a large number of artists and music submissions.

Knowledge of different Indian music genres, languages and the independent music ecosystem would be a definite advantage.

Internship Duration: 4 months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, with flexibility to work from home for up to 2 days a week

And importantly, this internship can be the beginning of something longer.

Outstanding interns may be offered the opportunity to join Songdew full-time after successfully completing the internship.
