We are looking for a highly experienced Sr. Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure enterprise-level databases. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, along with hands-on experience in performance tuning, HA/DR setups, and database migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain database systems
Monitor performance and optimize databases for high efficiency
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
Ensure high availability (HA) and minimal downtime
Manage database security, access control, and encryption
Handle database migrations (MSSQL to PostgreSQL/Open-source DBs)
Troubleshoot performance issues using tools like SQL Profiler, DMVs
Collaborate with developers for schema design and optimization
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance standards
Handle incidents and provide root cause analysis
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
Experience with database performance tuning & optimization
Knowledge of HA/DR solutions and replication
Experience in backup and recovery processes
Familiarity with AWS RDS / Azure SQL Database
Exposure to NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, Cassandra, Kafka (preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications:
Azure Database Administrator Associate
AWS Certified Database Specialty
