Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in handling accounting functions and statutory compliances.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and filing of GST returns
Handling TDS calculations, deductions, and filings
Ensuring compliance with ROC (Registrar of Companies) requirements
Maintaining books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records
Invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations
Assisting in audits and financial reporting
Ensuring timely statutory compliance and documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and ROC filings is mandatory
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally)
Valuable analytical and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
