Wiseway Technologies is looking for an SEO Intern to join our Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate should be SEO certified/trained with a basic understanding of SEO practices and a strong interest in building practical experience.
You will work on real-world projects involving On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Technical SEO, Keyword Research, AEO, and GEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis using Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, and similar tools.
- Assist with On-Page SEO, including meta titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, content optimization, internal linking, and Schema Markup.
- Support Off-Page SEO activities such as link building, guest posting, outreach, and backlink research.
- Assist with Technical SEO audits covering indexing, crawlability, site speed, sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, and canonicalization.
- Monitor Google Search Console and Google Analytics to track rankings, organic traffic, CTR, and website performance.
- Assist with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) for search engines and AI-powered platforms.
- Work with content and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.
Skills & Requirements
- SEO Certified/Trained | Up to 6 Months Experience
- Basic knowledge of On-Page, Off-Page & Technical SEO
- Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Google Search Console & Google Analytics
- Basic knowledge of WordPress/CMS, HTML and CSS
- Understanding of AEO & GEO is preferred
- Valuable analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with SEO and AI search trends
