Position: Costing Assistant

Qualification

- M.Com / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with relevant manufacturing industry experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain product-wise costing and cost sheets.
- Calculate and analyze material, labour, overhead, and production costs.
- Monitor actual costs against standard/budgeted costs and identify variances.
- Assist in preparation of cost estimates for new and existing products.
- Analyze manufacturing expenses and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Accounts teams for costing-related data.
- Maintain accurate costing records and MIS reports.
- Support monthly costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
- Assist in preparing management reports related to product costing and profitability.




- Ensure timely and accurate completion of costing-related activities.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costing.
- Good understanding of BOM, material consumption, labour, and overhead costing.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and costing/ERP software.
- Ability to analyze cost variances and prepare reports.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

Candidate Profile

- 3–6 years of relevant experience in costing, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
