We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store In-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital store, including inventory control, stock maintenance, procurement coordination, and timely availability of medicines, medical supplies, and other hospital materials.
- Manage daily operations of the hospital store.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Receive, inspect, and issue medicines, medical supplies, and other materials.
- Monitor stock expiry dates, batch numbers, and quantities.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and prepare purchase requests.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Department and suppliers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Maintain proper documentation for receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials as per hospital procedures.
- Identify slow-moving, damaged, expired, or near-expiry items.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and inventory procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in hospital stores, medical stores, or healthcare inventory management.
- Positive knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work under pressure.
